Five years ago we started working on a new
strategic focus. Today we reaffirm that
the subjects we work on are key to
  the development of the country.

In the words of The Director

Ángela Escallón

Director

Sharing every year our annual report is always a great challenge and a big responsability. To summarize in this document all the activities and accomplishments, difficulties and challenges, apprenticeships and knowledge, is not a simple task. However, we bet on a structure that allows our readers to navigate across the projects and find detailed and technical information about our strategic focus: Education to Employment and Education for Citizens.

From Corona Foundation we want to share what we work for day to day, along with our 162 partners and allies, with whom we have been building innovative schemes of intervention, which have let us propose the inclusive employment model and citizen participation that today guide our actions.

To have a reference framework where we identify actors, sections, stages, and components, allow us to have an integrated perspective of the interventions, and above all to understand how the processes are met among institutions to be more collaborative and efficient.

As always, and every year, we thank our partners and allies, with some of them we have been working together for 20 years! To all of you, with whom we share the dream that Colombia becomes a country with opportunities for all, our acknowledgement for your labor and our invitation to work together for this ideal that unites us.

Water,

a fundamental asset

In Colombia and around the World, childrens died each day for diseases caused by lack of access to clean water. According to the WWC’s report of 2017, the water-related diseases represented 3,5 million deaths each year. A basic and foundamental asset that most of us take for granted.
